Most barbers and salons win new customers the same way. Someone sees your work, likes it, and wants to book. Then they go looking for how, and that is where a surprising number of them wander off.
The booking link is buried
A link in an Instagram bio, behind a link-in-bio page, behind a menu. Every extra tap loses people. Your booking button should be the first thing on your website, on every page, and one tap from your Instagram and Google profiles.
Nobody can see your prices
New customers want to know what a cut or a colour costs before they commit. If the only way to find out is to message you, plenty will book somewhere that shows prices instead. Put a simple price list on the site. “From” prices are fine if every job is different.
Your best work is stuck on your phone
Your camera roll is full of great before and afters. Put the best on your website, not just Instagram. People searching Google may never see your feed.
Nobody knows who is who
Customers often pick a person, not a shop. Show your team with a photo, a line about what each of them is best at, and a way to book with them directly.
You are not on the map
“Barber near me” gets searched constantly. A properly set up Google Business Profile with photos, prices and plenty of reviews is how you show up.
Keep it simple
A barber or salon website does not need to be big. It needs your work, your prices, your people, where you are, and a booking button that works on the bus. Do those well and it brings customers in while you are busy with the ones in the chair.
